St.Augustine & St.Mary's Cathedral School: In the Community

We will hold our annual community Work-a-Thon during the morning of October 11, Saturday. Please contact the School Office at 251-2376 if you are a parishioner and need some free assistance with raking or yard work!

Hi! The SCRIP program is off to a good start. We placed our first order today and we are pleased with the interest and number of orders received so far. I know this program will just grow and benefit our school immensely.

This Friday will be the first day we will have the Scrip table set up in the school from 7:45a.m.-mass start and again after mass until 10:00a.m. Please plan to stop by to pick up your order or drop one off for next week!

Due to processing time required, the deadline to place orders will now be each Friday by 10:00 a.m. to pick up the following Friday.

Please remember that we do have inventory on hand that can simply be purchased (without filling out an order form ahead of time). These are listed on the left side of your order form and they are: Barnes and Noble, Sam’s Club/Walmart, Shopko, Chipotle, Marcus Theaters, Starbucks, Subway, Coborn’s/Cashwise, Cub Foods, Holiday, SA/Speedway.

Please also be aware that you can order from any of the retailers listed on the master listing that was sent home. If you do not have a copy, there is one in the office or let me know and I can get you one. These should be written in on the order form in the blank lines.

Popular write ins this week were: Applebees, iTunes, Gymboree, and Lands End.

We are excited by this first week and we are just getting started! There are so many ways to use this program and we will share ideas with you throughout the year of how to maximize this consumer based fundraising program! And if those of you who ordered this week could please share with others how simple it really is, we can only grow it more!
