Here are some of the rules of our department
Tennis Shoes Only
For the students' safety, tennis shoes are required to participate in Physical Education. ALL STUDENTS will be having classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please help your student remember to wear (or wear) tennis shoes on those days.
Sports Stars
Students will have the opportunity to earn sports stars during their PE classes. When a student reaches 10 stars, he or she will be given a reward. In addition, they will also be placed on the "Stars Hall of Fame".
Following directions, encouraging others, wearing tennis shoes, playing by the rules, using equipment properly and trying their hardest are some of the ways that they can earn stars.
Benched!
Periodically, a student has difficulty participating in PE class. When the behavior becomes unmanageable, he or she will be removed from the activity and be given the remaining class time to manager his or her behavior. A form will be sent home with the student and it will need to be signed by a parent or guardian before the student's next class. Thanks for cooperating in my effort to assist students in becoming terrific sportsmen. Benching will only apply to students grade 3-6.
